North Wall Property is a Merseyside-based estate agency, founded by partners, Craig and Kate, in late 2020. The agency covers the whole of Liverpool, with an in-depth knowledge of the local market, and a focus on delivering exceptional service and value. North Wall believes that “it’s time for different” in estate and lettings agencies. The company prides itself on its values: committed, principled, resourceful, fair, team-oriented, sustainable and personal. As a local agency that is family-owned and run, everything is based on these core values.
Craig elaborates: “We believed that home buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants needed better service. There should be good quality, principled agencies and agents available.”
The Training Need
With a growing team, Craig and Kate believe that training and learning resources should be a part of any agency business, to build a foundation of continued development, high-quality service and professionalism.
“With a low-fee model, in order to sustain business, the focus becomes solely on finances, there is little time for agents to train, or plan, and this is not acceptable. Agents need the support and recompense for their hard work and skill, and clients need quality service and dedication from agents. Clients also need personalised relationships and an understanding of the emotional, financial and legal complexities of property. Houses aren’t just assets, they are homes. In challenging times, such as those we are experiencing now, our homes are places of stability and comfort.” Say Craig.
The Learning Experience
Having incorporated The Able Agent into North Wall, Craig reflects on their experience so far:
“Our team is mostly made up of extremely experienced agents, but even they have benefited, particularly on the sales side, as the resources act as a reminder of techniques and nuggets of information to hone their skills.
“The Able Agent has proved to be very good value, but it is down to the users to extract that value properly. It can be hard to find the time to make sure everyone is working towards their training and development goals, but the team has supported us throughout the process so far with advice and guidance on setting up training plans and getting back on track.”
Successful Outcomes
North Wall is a young agency, but with big plans. Following a successful year where they quickly found their feet and made their mark in the local area, the team is excited for substantial growth in 2022.
Kate adds her final thoughts: “We want to continue to cement our position as the local community focused agency in Maghull.
“Training will play a key role in our growth and establishment. The Able Agent has proven so far to be an excellent way for us to improve our skills and develop our knowledge, but will also help us onboard new staff, as they will have excellent training, and can even study for their qualifications whilst with us to set them on their way to a successful career in property. The most important thing is that we have a supported, happy, skilled team, armed with knowledge, who can deliver the best service to our clients.”
