Madison Browne, starting her property career with MP Estates in Essex
We spoke to Madison, 18 years old, is currently training to become a lettings negotiator working at MP Estates in Essex, about her experience entering the property industry as an apprentice. She started as a property apprentice in September 2022 and her week is a combination of office duties, coupled with study time. Here about Madison’s experience in her own words:
“Hi, my name is Madison, I am currently training to become a lettings negotiator. My manager put me forward on this apprenticeship course and I can honestly say the support I have been given and the knowledge I have gained is exceptional.”
“I am someone who thinks they can get everything and anything done, Catherine (the apprenticeships coordinator) seemed to pick this up and the support and help she has given me I cannot thank her enough, especially when it comes to my training time on Able Agent.”
“My focus was to gain knowledge and understanding of the job, which I have done and now it is to expand on my terminology used. Every day, I keep Able Agent open so I can refer to it when writing to a client, this improves my reputation, professionalism and my knowledge! Occasionally, I will log on to watch a video to refresh my brain on a certain area of the lettings side of Estate Agency. They even have mini mock assessments which you can complete to keep track of your progress!”
