How to register for the qualification – Certificate in Property Advice and Practice (CePAP)
This is a guide on how to register for your qualification.
CePAP is a nationally recognised Ofqual regulated qualification and exam. It requires you to have acquired the knowledge and understanding covering the learning outcomes in the 5 Core Modules.
Read this information carefully before submitting your details, using the link at the bottom of this page.
1. Are You Ready for Your Level 3 CePAP Exam?
Check before you register – have you
- completed at least 10/15 Courses in the 5 Core Modules?
- a plan to finish the remaining courses?
We understand you all have different levels of experience, but we expect everyone, who wants to sit the exam, to complete all 5 Core Modules and 15 Courses to cover all the topics and learning.
- If you have completed 10 of the 15 courses, then think about registering for the qualification at this point, rather than waiting until all 15 are done, as there is a time delay of around 4 to 6 weeks between starting to register, booking and sitting your exam.
2. Have you checked with your employer?
Confirm that they are committed to supporting your registration for the qualification and get their approval to pay the qualification and exam fees
The current registration cost is £195 + VAT, which includes the enrolment, exam fees, and certificates.

3. Ok I am ready
Step 1 – How do I register?
- Submit your details to enrol on to the qualification and then a unique learner number is created for you.
- Make sure you use your full name to match your photo ID. You will need to present your ID when you take the exam.
- Check you have valid ID before submitting your registration form.
- After 7 working days The Able Agent will issue you with a learner number, an exam voucher code and full details of how to book the exam.
- Please note the fees for the registration and exam are due at this point. The voucher code is is non-transferable and the fees are non-refundable.
Step 2 – How do I book my exam? Where do I book my exam?
- The email you receive will explain how and where you can book the exam.
- Full details will be sent to you with your voucher code.
- Please read carefully all the information provided, especially re valid ID requirements, how to reschedule an exam and what happens if you are unable to attend the exam.
- The exam can be taken at any of the nationwide Pearson Vue test centres of your choice. You can also choose to take the exam using the OnVue system, where you sit the exam in a secure environment at home or in the office. For OnVue, it is important you check your PC or laptop is compatible with the requirements, and check with IT support if you are planning to take the exam in the office, as security firewalls etc may prevent you from accessing the exam.
We advise that you should book your exam as soon as possible after receiving the voucher code, to give yourself as much choice as possible of exam dates and times.
