Course Overview

This Property Management Module covers all the safety, processes and systems followed in a property management department in relation to repairs and maintenance. It covers both Short Assured Tenancies and Private Residential tenancies.

What You Will Learn

• Understand the different types of tenancies and the requirements of the Private (Tenancies) (Scotland) Act 2016 and the Housing Act (Scotland) in relation to repairs and maintenance
• Understand the statutory legislation and obligations of all parties regarding the safety and maintenance of the condition of the property (repairing standards and tolerable standards)
• Understand the statutory legislation and obligations of all parties regarding the safety and maintenance of the condition of the property
