Course Overview

This Property Management for Scotland Module takes the process from inventory and check in and covers all the safety, processes and systems followed in a property management department. It covers Model Tenancy Agreements and  Private Residential Tenancies 

What You Will Learn

• Understand the different types of tenancies and the requirements of the Housing Act 1988
• Know how to extend, renew and end tenancy agreements
• Know how to conduct a tenant check in and check out and provide a full inventory report
• Understand the statutory legislation and obligations of all parties regarding the safety and maintenance of the condition of the property
• Understand the procedures, legislation and codes of practice for processing and dealing with client monies
• Understand how to deal with deposit disputes
