Course Overview

There are general skills that are essential whether you are an estate agency or lettings lister/ valuer.

Understanding how to measure a room accurately, how to close deals, how to increase fee levels, and carrying out perfect viewings and follow up calls are all essential skills.

This course is designed to give confidence in fee levels and procedural knowledge to existing listers/valuers, and provide support to new lister/valuers.

What You Will Learn

• Understand the property listing and market appraisal process
• Understand the main factors that affect property value
• Know how to conduct an appraisal of residential property for sale or for rent and know how to measure and evaluate the property
• Understand terms of business and key agency terms, and be able to explain the information to others for mutual benefit

About Specialism Modules and Courses

All Specialism Module content is designed for those staff who wish to expand their knowledge in the wider procedures in estate agency and lettings.

The specialisms align to the Specialism qualifications written with ABBE (Awarding Body of the Built Environment), which can be taken after the initial CePAP L3 qualification has been passed.

This content does NOT need to be revised for the L3 CePAP (Certificate in Property Advice & Practice) initial exam.
